Managing Editor

Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metro area, Erika made her way to Tallahassee for college and received a B.A. in English from Florida State University. She went on to earn her MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College, paying her way through school by measuring women for bras as an assistant manager at Victoria's Secret in New Orleans. After narrowly escaping Hurricane Katrina's wrath, Erika made the permanent move to Tampa with her fiance, Jonathan, and their Pekapoo, Clyde. They've since welcomed a new addition to the family - a Yorkie named Artie. When she's not whipping up fabulous copy, Erika enjoys hitting the gym, traveling and sitting on the couch with her boys watching TV and sipping red wine.
